2016 Election by the Numbers

Hillary (+ allied PACs) spent ~$857 million; Trump (+ allied PACs) spent ~$392 million. Hillary outspent Trump more than two to one and still lost.

Banking & Wall Street groups gave Hillary (+ allied PACs) ~$137 million; they gave Trump (+ allied PACs) ~$1.2 million.

Pharmaceutical & Medical Industry groups gave Hillary (+ allied PACs) ~$27.3 million; they gave Trump (+ allied PACs) ~$2.3 million.

Internet, Telecom, Tech, & Media Industry groups gave Hillary (+ allied PACs) ~$38.8 million; they gave Trump (+ allied PACs) less than one million.

Lobbyists & Law Firm groups groups gave Hillary (+ allied PACs) ~$38 million; they gave Trump (+ allied PACs) ~$1 million.

Of the money Trump raised directly, 27.32% came from Small Individual Contributors, while 15.41% came from Large Individual Contributors.

Of the money Hillary raised directly, 18.39% came from Small Individual
Contributors, while 53.59% came from Large Individual Contributors.
